The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
This is a 28/28 rotation position with the main objective being to provide day to day oversight of the manufacturing, assembly and testing of the subsea production system equipment (5” x 2” 10ksi horizontal tree and DF VCCS connection system components). The HXT’s being supplied are of a flat pack nature and will be taken from a partial assembled and tested state to through full build and test. This will include hydraulic piping welding and NDE, component assembly and test and insulation application (production HXT only) and Factory Acceptance Testing and Extended Factory Acceptance Testing.

General Responsibilities:
•HXT Flat Pack Build – Build plan and assembly procedure, FAT/EFAT test procedure review to ensure compliance with relevant industry specification and company GP’s.
•Conduct third party inspection, witness and surveillance requirements in cooperation with Project Team and GEOG QA Departments.
•Monitor equipment assembly to ensure quality workmanship, compliance with contractor build plan, assembly procedures and industry best practices.
•Witness all equipment FAT and EFAT testing to ensure relevance to specification and acceptance criteria.
•Monitor/review disposition of all GRA’s in conjunction with GEOG manufacturing team QA and Resident Engineer.
•Manufacturing Record Book review for correctness and completeness.
•GEOG assembly and test workshop safety supervision.
•Supervise Site Receipt Testing of all shipped loose equipment. To include but not limited to the following –
Hydraulic Flying Lead
Electrical Flying Lead
Single-Phase Flow Meter
Multi-Phase Flow Meter
Subsea Control Module
Tubing Hanger and Crown Plugs
VCCS Connection System Equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A detailed knowledge of subsea manufacturing, inspection techniques, equipment & methodologies employed in these activities.
•A detailed knowledge of Quality Management Systems and planning principles
•A detailed working knowledge of the design & operation of subsea equipment including Trees, Manifolds, and connection systems.
•The ability to identify, analyse and respond to project opportunities, risks and uncertainties.
