The Role:
Primary objectives of this position includes:
 Ensuring safe and reliable operations of the Subsea Installations
 Ensuring the system integrity in full compliance with regulatory and Company internal regulations.
 Management of subsea TVM contract and ensure Contractor’s performance, HSE, and deliveries
 Ensuring readiness of contingency plan including availability of frame agreement with subsea service contractors and tools/equipment/spare.
 Ensuring all subsea intervention delivery meets the set out KPI including scope of work, safety, cost and schedule.
 Ensuring diving and marine activities meet IMCA/OGP and Company internal regulations.
 Providing supports and working within Project as Subsea Reps in any Subsea development when required

Main Functions:

Daily monitoring performance/integrity of the Subsea System (Tree operations, Surface/subsea
Control for Subsea System, Solid detection etc.,) and provide immediate advice for maintaining safe operations for the Subsea system.
Define and review subsea system operating envelop/KPIs. Develop and review working procedures/PMRs for the system. Review assigned PCE for Subsea System.
Plan and execute subsea equipment annual maintenance onshore and offshore in association with PTSC, TVM contractors (Aker Solution for Lan Tay and FMC for Lan Do Subsea control Systems).
Manage Subsea critical spares and replenishment
Manage TVM (Total Vendor Maintenance) contract including contractor support engineers, subsea equipment repair and subsea spares purchasing, contractor performance review.
Manage the implementation of the Subsea Services Frame Agreement in line with Subsea Operations and Maintenance Strategy.
Plan and execute planned and contingent subsea interventions and IMR, including:
o Contract preparations
- Building work scope
- Provide technical tender documents and guidelines
- Tender evaluation and provide technical clarifications/queries to Contractors.
o Engineering preparations:
- Single Point Accountability SPA for technical preparations
- Supervision of Contractor work and performance
- Coordination with other departments for spare and material purchasing
- Coordinate with Auditors to carry out Marine, Diving and ROV audits as per IMCA requirement.
- Planning for manpower mobilization and utilization.
o Execution:
- Mobilization of vessel/diving/ROV system and manpower
- Being offshore Senior Client Representative
- Supervision of Contractor works and performance
- Preparing and Planning for offshore execution
- Manage manpower movements
- Provide technical clarifications and inputs for contractor work.
o Close out:
- Review close Out report provided by Contractor
- Review the anomalies found during the offshore execution and plan for future intervention and correction action.
o Post Project Evaluation:
- Monitor system performance and assessment after repair or intervention
- Plan and carry out repair of the faulty parts or replenishment of the spares
o Subsea intervention tooling maintenance and repair (if required):
 Carry out RCFA for Subsea system when required and provide verification for technical and operational issues
 Provide supports for marine and diving operations to ensure they meet international, local and company internal regulations.
 Plan, review and manage for subsea annual and intervention budgets
 Project Supports – as required

Regulation of Activities:
International, state and corporate regulations, standards, terms of reference, instructions and rules that must be followed when performing the work:
Corporate regulations: HSSE, Integrity Management, Employees, Business Travel, Golden Rules, Code of Conduct and etc.
 International: IMCA, OGP and IMO regulations for Marine, Diving and ROV operations.
 Engineering codes and Standards: API, ASME, GPs, ETPs, STPs…

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Subsea Operation Engineer requires the following key skills/characteristics:
a) Technical – Skilful in Oil and Gas Subsea Production System (Subsea control systems, Subsea wells, Trees, gathering system, subsea pipeline etc.)
b) Technical – Good knowledge and skilful in implementation of the international and industrial requirements, practices, code and standards in Marine, ROV and Diving Operations. Skilful in operations of the Subsea Intervention tooling and methods.
c) Technical – Basic application in Integrity Management Standards and its implementation especially Subsea Pipeline Integrity Management and Subsea Integrity Management. Demonstration of capability as Skilful in HAZID, Management of change and Risk Assessment & Management.
d) Technical – Basic Application in Subsea Control System – Capability to coordinate supports from E&I Engineer for Subsea Control System (Hydraulic/ E&I / Communication and Control) and from TVM contractors
e) Technical – Basic application

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Vietnamese only
University graduated. BS in Marine/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
Additional training required:
 Subsea awareness
 Subsea Production System
 DP familiarization
Marine Operations
Fluency in English and Vietnamese both in written and oral
