The Role:
• Champion a working culture based on respect for health, safety and environmental issues and maintenance of a high level of asset integrity
• Participate as a member of the Flyndre Cawdor Project Team in delivering North Sea Project directorate business targets.
• Participate in review and approval of FEED engineering deliverables related to the pipeline scope of work and assist in the preparation of tender documentation for the detailed design contract for the subsea elements of the project.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation for the procurement and coating of linepipe materials.
• Participate in review and approval of Detailed Engineering deliverables related to the pipeline scope of work and assist in the preparation of tender documentation for the pipeline installation and pre-commissioning contract
• Fulfill the responsibilities of package engineer for the manufacture of all linepipe, warming spool items and flanges and fittings for the subsea pipeline system to ensure delivery in accordance with the overall project schedule and the quality requirements of the project.
• Accountable for the review and approval of the technical content of the selected subsea contractor’s installation analysis and procedures.
• Oversee the execution of all the pipelay, trenching, backfill and pre-commissioning activities offshore within the safe operating practices of the host installation.
• Act as Client Rep offshore as requested.
• Responsible for the review and acceptance of all as-built information associated with the subsea pipeline system
• Build effective working relationships with other project team members and other departments within Oil North Sea.
• Ensure compliance with the stage gate and change request processes.
• Encourage compliance with the Oil Projects Department Procedures Manual

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Recognised Engineering Degree
• Offshore installation experience in reeled pipe-in-pipe subsea pipeline systems
• Minimum 10 years experience in pipeline design with detailed knowledge of pipeline design codes and standards
• Previous experience in preparation of Pipeline Works Authorisation applications
• Preference may be given to candidates who have had previous employment with an Oil and Gas Operator.
