The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join their team.

The Role:
• This position is for a full time Subsea Pipeline Engineer to supervise all flowline and pipeline design work tasks for the offshore Angola Project.
• The successful candidate will be seconded to the major capital project team to assist with FEED & detailed engineering studies and should have previous industry experience and a strong technical subsea pipeline engineering back ground.

Responsibilities:
• Specifications of, design verification, installation and pre-commissioning of the subsea flowlines and pipeline systems (PLET, ITA, jumpers, linepipe, etc.)
• Interfaces with subsea equipment systems, riser systems, engineering and installation contractors

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science
• 8-10 years of experience in deepwater subsea pipeline design, installation, construction, and pre-commissioning.
• Demonstrated experience with interfacing between the various parts of the subsea pipeline system and with risers and subsea equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in the tools, techniques and deepwater offshore operations associated with the inspection, maintenance, intervention and repair of subsea pipelines.
• Should be a recognized subsea pipeline specialist among peers and experienced with deepwater installation contractors and vessels.
• Knowledge of applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices for the design, fabrication & installation of subsea flowlines, export pipelines, jumpers & subsea structures.
• Understanding of vessel operations and management.
• Working knowledge of flow assurance, production chemistry, corrosion management and materials selection.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT / DECISION MAKING :
• Proven ability to coordinate engineering works with external Contractors.
• Demonstrated MCP experience in Phases 2-4.
• Well versed in CSOC practices (CSOC certified), application of tools and implementation of lessons learned and best practices.
PERSONAL SKILLS :
• Effectively works and communicates within a multi-discipline collaborative environment. IIF mindset and experience implementing IIF within the team and with external contractors.
• Ability to efficiently interface with other functional group team members - surface facilities, operations, HES, drilling, reservoir management, IT, and services to deliver business results.
