The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
To provide the following services in a number of key projects involving:

•Supervise basic engineering study for subsea pipeline design and installation.
•Develop Scope of Work and tender related documents for subsea project execution.
•Support Team Lead on management of installation contractor on subsea project.
•Interface with Operations Subsea Team on maintenance/redundancy/operability/obsolescence issues.
•Coordination role with offshore platform operations during offshore subsea works.
•Bring technical expertise into the team on pipeline design and installation discipline.


•Lead and manage the defined scopes and contractor teams which are responsible for the technical execution of the project scope.
•Ensure that technical expertise from the requisite disciplines will be implemented during the course of the contract.
•Control the technical aspects and performance of the main projects contractors.


•Perform duties in accordance with company safety requirements and rules and “MAESTRO” system
•Ensure that legislative and Company safety, health and environment rules and standards are met by Installation Contractor.
•Liaison with company business development and subsea operations departments to ensure requirements are clearly agreed and implemented.
•Provide input to contract scope of work and preparation of project particular specifications.
•Perform technical management of contractors during: Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Offshore Installation & Commissioning phases.
•Review and comment on procedures, documents & drawings pertinent to the scope of work.
•Ensure Interface with the Subsea Team Lead for contract reporting, Contractual subjects related to the Installation contract, Progress & schedule of the Installation Contract, Cost & Commercial subjects
•Preparation for handover to Operations.
•Monitor Contractors’ achievements in accordance with contractual requirements and especially in area of safety and technical expertise to ensure all company standards are met.
•Ensure proper involvement of support teams.
•Issue direct reports to Subsea Team Lead including technical reports & Progress reports of the contractor’s performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Core knowledge of the main disciplines:Pipeline design and installation / Subsea works / Diving
Degree in relevant and recognised engineering discipline (chartered engineer or equivalent)
Significant engineering & construction management experience (planning, cost control, contracting)
Appropriate industrial experience overall with successful experience in pipeline installation projects
