The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
This position is to be based in the UK with some travel to Perth, Australia, possibly in the first month. The successful candidate will relocate to SE Asia within 6 months.

Our client is currently looking for a Subsea Production System (SPS) Planner. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for all planning / scheduling & Updating activities of Offshore SPS facilities so that they meet the Company's requirements. The candidate's primary objectives will be to provide effective construction planning and coordination of the Project team inclusive of contractors', licensors' and subcontractors' and to ensure that planning activities have satisfactory incorporated the requirements of project and other appropriate regulations.

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• To provide planning, control and monitoring service to the Offshore project SPS facilities team, covering all associated licensors' and subcontractors'.
• Develop and maintain Level 3 schedules of SPS in Our client's P6 database, which integrates with overall Offshore schedule.
• Develop and maintain Document Deliverable Register and Man hours budget, Actual, Earned and forecast against each CTR.
• Effectively manage the various interface points between SPS and the Offshore schedules of URF/ GEP / CPF & FPSO with other contractors.
• Liaise with the contractors' and associated licensors' and subcontractors' planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.
• Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise & advise the Team Lead and Sr.Planning Engineer of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program.
• Prepare clear and concise planning reports and documentation for the above plans on a regular basis; this would include bar charts and networks, milestone and variance reports which feed into overall Offshore reports.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings
• Maintain close coordination with Project Services groups in other locations and input as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• University graduate with min 5 years planning in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Proficient with Primavera P5 and/or P6 and Pertmaster Risk Analysis software.
• Broad understanding of facilities engineering and Project Control issues without being a specialist.
• Highly developed cross cultural influencing skills for work with subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds.
