The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
Our Client is currently seeking a Subsea Project Engineer (Flexible Products), who will be a key member of the Subsea Construction PMT which is responsible for delivering the subsea systems and managing all the preparation work for the installation of the subsea flexible productions (production umbilical, SSIV umbilical, DEH riser cables).

A key requirement for this position is to build a close and open working relationship with the contractor engineers, such that challenges are identified early and addressed efficiently.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing the installation engineering and procedure development to assure timely delivery of approved procedures for mobilisation and execution of the works
• Readiness planning & co-ordination of Pre Startup Assurance Checklists prior to campaign execution.
• Managing the key interface with the designers and suppliers of the production umbilical
• Managing the key interface with the designers and suppliers of the SSIV control umbilical
• Managing the key interface with the designers and suppliers of the DEH system
• Maintaining close contact with the Engineering Team to ensure timely approval of engineering queries, deviations and approval of contractor documents,
• Support the offshore installation and testing of the flexible products
• Support the pre-commissioning and survey scopes for the flexible products
• Manage the flexible product integrity to ensure no latent defects are passed in to operations
• Managing the schedule for installation of the subsea structures
• Managing and tracking of the execution costs including the assessment of contractor variations, invoices and deliverables

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree and professional status accreditation with a recognised institution
• A minimum of 5years subsea engineering and offshore installation experience
• Proven capability of contractor management and execution of offshore construction activities
