The Role:
The GSH Project Engineer in Global Subsea Hardware is expected to have or develop generalist skills from the subsea services industry covering all aspects of subsea / wells equipment and subsea production systems including trees, mainfolds, jumpers, connectors, and all associated control equipment. This work involves site management to support subsea hardware services delivery scopes including equipment inspections, preservations, rework, maintenance, and refurbishments.

The GSH Project Engineer will be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing the subsea service requirements as directed by the Lead Project Engineer for both GPO and GOO projects in the GoM and ensuring the Suppliers perform to Company's expectations. The work is of a dynamic nature, with competing demands on time, driven by both internal and external drivers. As a result, the ability to prioritize according to business value is critical to this role.
The work involves:

• Exhibiting exemplary HSSE leadership to Company and out Subsea Suppliers / Service Providers.
• Manages work scopes at GSH Subsea Hardware Services sites.
• Assist GSH Project Engineering Lead with weekly and monthly reports to the projects ensuring a consistent approach across GSH
• Interface with GoM Subsea Operations and Subsea Wells teams to deliver equipment and services including tree preservations and refurbishments.
• Support the tracking of aftermarket performance and capability of our Subsea Supplier / Service Providers – against an agreed set o KPIs.
• Proactively monitor and report progress of all subsea aftermarket activities and elevates areas of concern regarding quality and delivery changes.
• Co-ordinate the resolution of hardware technical issues with the wider GSH disciplines and the hardware supplier while meeting the requirements of GPO and GOO
• Assist in the development and implementation of global common maintenance strategies for Subsea / Wells equipment.
• Support the development of and co-ordinate Subsea Services Call-Offs for scopes of work
• Support GoM subsea projects and operations teams with shared learings ensuring actions are captured in the appoerate location and tracked to closure.
• Work closely with the other subsea discipline engineers in both GSH and Operations to ensure alignment on technical issues and integrity standards.
• Review and comment on technical scopes of services, scopes of work, preservation, storage and maintenance procedures, SIT / SRT testing procedures, ITPs etc. produced by the subsea GA / Tier 1 suppliers.
• Incorporate lessons learned and best practices from Company and industry into our day-to-day business.
• Read, understand, implement, and reinforce use of Company's Management of Change process.

• Broad range of technical skills associated with subsea aftermarket services and operations
• Develop a broad knowledge of subsea systems design, engineering and operation.
• Expand basic knowledge of Quality Assurance processes.
• Good awareness of contractual frameworks and terminology
• Understands the relevance of subsea equipment Reliability
• Significant experience working with subsea hardware
• General awareness of material control and inventory management (e.g. spare parts and tooling)
• Awareness of Maintenance Management Systems and their critical role in asset integrity management
• Capable of writing ‘Functional Requirements’ for subsea aftermarket services
• Capable of specifying / writing technical scopes of service for subsea aftermarket services
• Planning / coordinating subsea aftermarket support for integration testing and subsea construction activities
• Experience of subsea / wells equipment and tooling refurbishment
• Lessons capture and deployment into front end design
Desirable Criteria: • Experience in Design, Manufacturing and Fabrication
• Fimilar with quality processes and systems
• Experience with testing, commissioning and installing equipment
• Process driven mentality, well organised
