The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
You report to the Project Manager.
• Works as integrated member of the Project Team to assist with subsea aspects of project progression from concept through sanction to delivery within safety, schedule, cost, and quality constraints.

• Acts as Company representative as required on subsea facilities contracts including design and construction;
- Liaison with offshore client representatives during offshore construction phases
- Liaison with platform operations teams for vessel phase interfaces
- Provides project briefings for Contractors vessels

• Provide subsea technical input to company project teams as required.
• Assist with monitoring contractor performance on schedule and cost
• Assist with compilation of as-built project documentation
• Assists with Subsea Facilities input to statutory documentation.
• Assists with the Subsea Facilities input to project-wide activities, including subsea cost estimating, planning and risk reviews.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with Operator and Contractor at minimum level of Principal Project Engineer.
• Experience of contracts and contractor management.
• Commitment to the highest HSSE standards.
• Significant Years experience in Oil and Gas subsea engineering sector.
• BSc / MSc / MEng or equivalent, in a relevant Engineering discipline .
• Experienced in subsea engineering, familiarity of equipment, installation/ construction techniques, installation equipment, pipeline lay methods, and subsea facilities design.
• Ability to interface across a wide range of disciplines including well engineering, operations and commercial aspects.
• Experience across various phases of projects from development to completion.
• Strong and effective written and oral communication skills, supported by interpersonal skills that allow working at a senior engineer level.
• Ability to lead meetings, challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with stakeholders to influence technical issues.
