The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
Support the Subsea Engineering Team Leader to deliver, manage and assure compliance against the engineering and project management requirements.

Deliver, manage and assure compliance for Subsea team inputs to key project documents and activities including
•Leadership Team Meetings
•Project Co-Venturer (Partner) meetings and workshops
•Decision Support Packages (DSP)
•Project Execution Plans
•Project Statement of Requirements and Basis of Design
•Documentation in support of the Operating Management System (OMS) and Major Projects Common Process (MPCP).

Deliver inputs and provide assurance on Marine & Subsea Project Control processes including
•Management of Change (MoC) and Engineering Change Requirement (ECR’S)
•Risk Management
•Knowledge Management (including Lessons Learned Register) - Ensure lessons are learned from incidents and audits and distributed to project team to inform onward engineering design and improve risk management.
•Interface management
•Action Tracking

Ensure and demonstrate readiness for project Assurance processes
•Project reviews eg EDR, PHSSER’s, Peer and SETA reviews
•Project Audits
•Ensure actions from Peer Reviews are closed in an auditable and timely manner.
Support Performance Management Process for Project Team and Suppliers including
•Generation of performance statistics.
•Timely closure of Project Decisions.
•Support performance management of Engineering Contractor and Suppliers.

Technical Delivery
•Provide all necessary support to allow Capital cost (CAPEX) and Operational Costs (OPEX) estimates to be established.
•Support development of Class 3 Project Cost Estimate
•Manage resolution of cross project issues as required
•Participate in project design HAZID’s, risk & reliability analyses, workshop activities.

•Promote strong HSE performance within the team and contracting organisations.
•Promote and uphold Code of Conduct.
•Protect and enhance client reputation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree qualified Engineer
•Delivery experience in a Subsea Project environment.
•Experience with Performance Management of team, contractors and suppliers to ensure high standards are realised.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Preferably Chartered Engineer (or equivalent)
