A global Oil & Gas Operator with extensive operations in the Caspian region.

The Role:
The Role
- Assist the Project Management Team in delivery and execution of the Subsea Water Injection project.
- Manage delivery of Subsea Hardware and Control equipment in accordance with Clients practices and standards. Report cost, schedule and risk on a monthly basis, and ensure timely delivery to enable in-country fabrication and offshore installation.
- Ensure Project is delivered in accordance with Clients Common process for delivering major projects. Position will require integration across a multi-discipline team that includes: Subsurface, Wells, Subsea, Fabrication, Installation and Operations to enable successful delivery of subsea facilities and topside platform modifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

Experience / Criteria
• Strong team working and communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
• Previous experience of managing vendor delivery of subsea hardware and controls equipment, with a successful track record of expediting to achieve demanding project milestones
• Basic familiarity with the major elements of subsea field developments (including relevant aspects of drilling and topsides equipment) is essential.
• Previous experience with systems and processes for management of major capital projects is desirable.
• Degree qualified.

Management / Leadership
• Maintain focus on delivery of project equipment against key milestones.
• Pro-actively report key risks, issues, technical challenges and cost pressures - provide early communication to project and line management.
• Build productive relationships across project team interfaces.
• Create positive HSE environment / relationship with contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and Client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver key Project equipment to enable in-country fabrication as per the Level 1 Project schedule. Equipment packages will include: Subsea Controls, Gate Valves, Isolation Valves, Piping and Forgings.
• Attend monthly vendor meetings to manage performance and progress while ensuring vendors confirm to Project’s HSSE, Quality and Technical standards.
• Track Project performance in delivery against Clients’s internal requirement for delivering a major project
• Perform the role of risk champion for the project, leading risk assessments and developing risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate material for multi-disciplined bi-weekly meetings, record minutes and ensure timely close out of actions.
• Prepare material for Leadership and Shareholder Team meetings. Update dashboards on monthly basis and track action status.
