The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
Maintain appropriate knowledge of quality standards and processes.
Support SPS, KGP and KSC Delivery Leads in engaging contractors to work effectively towards achieving quality goals, providing guidance as required.
Assist in the production and maintainence of the Subsea Quality Plan and audit against it according to subsea audit schedule
Develop and maintain subsea audit programme and conduct site audits in accordance
Liaise, when required, with and between Company’s contractors to resolve inter-contractor dispute on Quality issues
Expedite product delivery including final inspection activities, agreement of punchlists, action tracking to close punch and ensure safe delivery of compliant products.
Coordinate subsea inspection requirements and reporting and assist inspectors in the discharge of their role
Ensure audit corrective actions are recorded and closed out in a timely fashion
Review contractor QA/QC documentation for correctness and conformity
Review contractor NCRs and dispositions
Participate in contractor quality failure investigations; develop, implement and close out action plans to mitigate failures
Represent the Subsea team in all aspects of quality with contractors, 3rd parties and legislative bodies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced QC Engineer with experience of fabrication and welding in Oil & Gas sector
Experienced in preparation and implementation of quality management systems
Experienced in welding inspection and NDT, preferably holding valid CSWIP 3.1 certification
Experienced in criticality assessment and subsequent setting appropriate inspections levels
Experienced in coordination of inspection services and vendor surveillance
Good communicator with a range of interpersonal skills to work at all levels within and outside the project team
Strong coordination, organisation and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions whilst working independently and on own initiative.
Fluent in English
Internationally mobile
