The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. The Role:
• Be responsible for the Design Engineering and procurement of the hardware of the In Line Tees, Flowline End Terminations of the 141 km 18”, 8" / 2" Flowlines as well as the ILT for the 243km 30” SIRGE line and PLEM from the detailed engineering through to installation.
• Liaise with other Discipline Engineers within the Project Group and Technical Authorities in the main Paris/Aberdeen Offices as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
• Act as a Company Representative on specific worksites as and when required.
• Reviews, comments and verifies contractor's engineering, focussing on the seabed foundations steel structure, and components including valves and fittings.
• Reviews and comments on specifications, requisitions, designs, procedures, layout arrangements and all documentation issued by the installation contractors.
• Assists with the management of the pipeline design and installation contractors.
• Prepares and presents technical dossiers.
• Reviews, comments and participates in risk assessments.
• Preparing technical specification and scopes of work.
• Implementation of project control procedures.
• Coordinates technical queries and compiles responses.
• Manages and Iiaises with the engineering verification contractors.
• Maintains documented and verified records.
• Regularly informs the Engineering Interface Coordinator of progress and any potential problems

Other Info
• Aberdeen Southpoint with visits to onshore construction sites and offshore construction vessels as required during mobilisation.
• Seconded to Newcastle MOCL construction Site to manage the 18” ILT / FLET FATs and SITs.
• Also to act as Company Site Representative on offshore Survey, Rockdump and Mattress Installation vessels.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree level in engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in the offshore oil industry gained from working in a similar role or project environment.
• Knowledge and experience of pipeline ancillary structures, pipeline operations and related inspection procedures.
• Familiar with the Management and control of pipeline construction-related contracts.
• Medically and physically fit to offshore standards
