The Role:
The incumbent(s) will be part of the subsea team who will support the Development Project. He / she shall report to the Asset Well Engineering Manager via the Subsea Systems Engineer.
Work will take place at both onshore and offshore locations, the Chaguaramas Logistics Base, various service company yards, and the client's Port of Spain office.

*Identification and follow up of the ROV Tooling required to operate the Subsea Trees from the rig.

*Ensuring that the equipment interfaces with the Subsea Test Tree and Completion, including the Tubing Hanger are managed for safe and efficient installation.

*Supervision of Systems Integration Testing (SIT) of Subsea Tubing Hanger and Landing String.

*Provide input into the Completion Programs to ensure the practicality of operational plans with respect to running the Subsea Landing Strings and its interfacing with the rig’s subsea BOP’s.

*Applying Lessons Learned and Best Practice information gathered with other Assets / Regions.

*Provide direct supervision at the well site to ensure that the wellheads and Xmas Trees are installed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

*Ensuring that the completion landing string is correctly prepared and spaced out for tubing hanger installation.

*Provide direct supervision at the well site to ensure that the Xmas Tree / Well Suspension Tests are carried out as per the Xmas Tree / Well Suspension Program.

*Supervisory experience in the installation of subsea tubing hangers and landing strings. Ideal candidates will have experience in working on the Operator side of the business.

*Preference will be for significant of practical experience with experience in running subsea operations.

*Knowledge of Subsea Systems and Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) operations including the interfacing with the rig’s sub-sea BOP system.

*Detailed knowledge of Subsea Tree components, operations and installation procedures.

*HSSE hazard identification, analysis, and management, in addition to a high level of safety awareness and knowledge of applicable regulations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of a Post High School Technical Certificate is required. A Degree in Engineering, or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
A proven team leader who is enthusiastic, engaging and appreciative of others opinions.

Computer literate with typical office packages and mechanical and maintenance engineering packages.

Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Demonstrated high-level interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ability to work in multi-discipline teams both internally and externally.

Proven ability to manage and improve contractor performance.

Ability to operate effectively in a multi-national, multi-cultural team.

Strong interpersonal, team working and team building skills to be an excellent team member.

Analytical skills; must possess very strong trouble-shooting skills.

Decision making and finding solutions.
