The Role:
Subsea Supervisor
Position Summary:
• Subsea Supervisor is primarily responsible for working with key service providers to prepare tooling for subsea hardware installation/retrieval and supervise the installation/retrieval offshore. This role includes both onshore planning and offshore execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery and/or mobilization of tooling needed to install Tubing Head Spools (THS), Tubing Hangers (TH) and Subsea Trees (XT). This includes ROV tooling, TH landing string tooling such as a BOP Spanner Joint or Subsea Test Tree and associated controls (IWOCS).
• Support Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) programs by researching legacy subsea interfaces and managing the delivery of tooling required execute the ARO program.
• Represent company during System Integration Testing. Responsible for reviewing test procedures for completeness during planning and execution.
• Provide consultation support during tree system manufacture and assembly
• Supervise the integration of the Tubing Hanger Running Tool with the BOP Spanner Joint or Subsea Test Tree.
• Supervise load-out of critical permit loads – specifically THS and XT.
• Supervise dock side testing and report any non-conformance for disposition
• Supervise marine transportation load-out
• Work directly with Drilling and Completion Supervisors during offshore preparation and offshore installation of THS, TH and XT.
• Participate in After Action Reviews with key equipment suppliers to capture learning’s and improve subsequent installations.
• Responsible for reporting, weekly, on key deliverable progress and 2 week look ahead

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills/Competencies:
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong safety and operational performance focus
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Experience:
• 10 years planning and executing deep-water subsea tree system installations
• Offshore operations experience is a must
• Helicopter egress training is a plus
• SafeGulf certificate is a plus
• TWIC card is a plus

Education:
• B.S. in engineering field is a plus
