The Company:
Our client is a major operator with global projects. They are looking for an experienced Subsea specialist to join their growing team based in Angola.

The Role:
- To support the Block Commissioning Start-up Manager in controlling/manage the execution of Commissioning & start-up activities associated with Subsea Systems.
- To supervise the Subsea System Contractors’ work force while implementing their commissioning tasks
- Ensuring that works are performed according to project specifications, international rules and schedule
- To verify that Subsea System Contractors respect all the relevant HSEQ procedures and regulations relevant to the Subsea discipline.
Approve the commissioning plans and procedures relevant to equipment and systems installed on theSubsea System
- Review/approve the Contractor ‘ commissioning and testing procedures
- Coordinate tests execution
- Monitor Punch lists population, follow-up and clearance
- Monitor Ready for commissioning certificates
- Commissioning certificates approval
- Promptly alerting the Commissioning Start-up manager in case of major problems
- Dealing with the contractors to solve minor problems
- Support the Commissioning Start-up manager in resolving NCR and SQ
- Support the Commissioning Start-up manager with overall periodic overall reports
- Responsible for:
- Timeliness and efficiency of works execution
- Technical quality of project Commissioning procedures
- Material and equipment supplies support
- Support the Commissioning Start-up Manager in planning and monitoring (schedule, cost and compliance of work to project specifications).
- Reporting the progress and costs trends to the Commissioning Start-up Superintendent
- Certifying the commissioning work progress to support the authorization for payments.
- Monitoring the progress and coordinating actions required to keep project on budget and on time.
- Supervising and coordinating the commissioning activities ensuring that the highest HSEQ standards are maintained throughout the project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in offshore facilities.

- At least 5 years of experience in project commissioning of oil/gas field development projects
