The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
Support effective integration with Marine, Wells, Subsurface, Offshore Facilities and Operations to deliver an integrated system for the project.
Act as system owner for Production System ensuring cross-discipline alignment of the design -specifically ensuring:
1.SPS component specifications are consistent with overall system design goals, and
2.Non-GSH hardware is designed in accordance with company ETP’s

•Engage with the process safety authority to:
a.Ensure subsea safety and technical integrity are prioritised, the system design is reliable and effectively meets the design intent
b.Review, endorse and performance manage the identification of subsea process system risks and the delivery of risk actions plans for project
•Ensure a fully integrated and tested topsides/subsea control system that meets project technical, operational, operational safety and schedule expectations. Manage the environmental case for open or closed loop control system.
•Manage the non-GSH hardware design - this includes the SSIV and FTA system components.
•Drive focus on Design Safety with EMPS Contractors and SPS Suppliers through constructive review of engineering design to ensure the range of design conditions and their consequences are understood and communicated and that the resultant design manages risk appropriately.
•Attend Subsea Engineering Monthly meetings and ensure issues and risks related to Process Systems are well communicated and ensure I understand integration issues and risks
•Hold weekly integration session to promote cross-discipline collaboration (Subsurface, Wells, Offshore and Operations)
•Hold bi-weekly meetings with GSH & EPMS contractor to ensure visibility of key issues for flow assurance, process and system engineering issues
•Ensure rigorous adherence to Process System and Integrity Management ETP’s through transparency of gaps and effectiveness of mitigation plans to address gaps.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience with the delivery, construction and installation of a broad range of subsea facilities and systems in a projects environment.
•Discipline expertise in either subsea control systems or process engineering.
•Degree qualified and Chartered Engineer (C.Eng).
