The Company:
The Company's main focus is to provide a seamless service for the engineering design and project management of subsea facilities, pipelines, risers and marine renewable energy developments worldwide. Provides all-of-asset integrity assurance founded on its extensive materials engineering capability, service life prediction experience and inspection management expertise.

The Role:
The Technical Representative is responsible for acting on behalf of its Clients(s) during operations offshore to ensure these activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner and meet both technical and contractual requirements.
is likely to be involved with a Project during the entire lifecycle. During the onshore & mobilisation phases of the Project the TR shall:
• Review & comment on Contractor procedures/design & HSEQ documentation.
• Provide HAZID / Risk Assessment input and ensure any resulting actions are followed up and properly closed out (where possible) prior to the commencement of offshore operations.
• Provide Client Coordination & Representation (as / when required).
• Attend Project and Safety meetings (as required).
(ii) During offshore operations, the TR shall be responsible for:
• Acting as the Client focal point between the operator and contractor during operations – including PTW, operational liaison, logistics, technical input, management of change and emergency response.
• Make sure adequate planning and preparation for the works is being undertaken by the contractor through worksite meetings, toolbox talks and conference calls.
• Ensure additional activities arising during the work programme are approved within the guidelines of the MOC (Management of Change) and in consultation with onshore management where necessary.
• Ensure that all environmental, health, safety and contractual issues are monitored and complied with.
• Monitor works to ensure that these are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Ensure that good communication exists between the worksite and other parties (platform, other vessels) whose acts or omissions could impact the worksite.
• Create and maintain a log throughout the workscope.
(iii) During the Project Close out phase of a Project, the TR shall:
• Provide operational experience feedback.
• Performance reporting – including recommendation of improvements for future operations.
(iv) Supporting other discrete packages / work as may be required on a time-to-time basis.
(v) The Technical Representative shall ensure that they comply with the Company HSE Policy. It should be noted that each person has a responsibility for the safety and quality aspects of the work that they undertake. Any questions or concerns relating to HSE and/or the QMS should be brought to the attention of the Team Leader.
Authority for all Client operations attributed to the assigned Project(s).

• SCM Changeout
• Choke Changeout
• Electrical system Low IR Investigations / jumper changeouts
• Hydraulic Leak Investigations
• Chemical Line blockage investigations
• Tree / Manifold Sensor replacements
• Subsea valve replacements
• Inspection activities / Dimensional checks
• Well interventions
• Pipeline pigging activities / repair / replacement
• Caisson repair / replacement
• Riser repair / replacement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant Engineering or Marine subject
or
Relevant operational Intervention Repair & Maintenance (IRM ) experience in Subsea, Diving and/or ROV operations and possess a sound understanding of the engineering requirements related to the subsea working environment.
In both cases, Individual should satisfy and be assessed against the requirements of the UKOOA Client Representative Competency guidelines. Should also have knowledge & understanding of the client’s policies, practices and procedures and a detailed knowledge of all relevant engineering procedures for the Subsea operation.
Should have previous appropriate offshore experience.

• Understanding of Subsea lift planning and techniques
• General Understanding of Subsea control systems
• Understanding of Subsea Intervention Isolation philosophy
