The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Job Description: The Subsea Tree Systems Package Engineer shall be responsible, through Phase 4 activities, for management and delivery of a wellhead and tree system that is engineered, manufactured and tested in accordance with the Project requirements. The role shall focus on the practical aspects of the wellhead and tree system engineering, manufacturing, testing and the interface with Client Drilling and Completion Team. Travel to SEC site(s) for participation in engineering/manufacturing reviews and witness of testing activities will be a regular occurrence. Key responsibilities include: • Participation in SEC engineering reviews (SOS and Design) • Interface with other members of the Subsea Equipment Team on integration of the production and intervention control systems and installation/intervention riser system • Interface with Client and SEC QA/QC personnel to ensure QC requirements are applied on a risk basis as well as the more general tolerance basis for all manufactured parts • Review of SEC non-conformance reports and remediation plans • Interface and liaise with site inspectors to ensure manufacture and testing, including site attendance during SEC testing activities (SUT/FAT/EFAT/SIT and SRT) in line with project requirements as the Client engineering representative • Management of tooling supply and testing through initial delivery • Supporting role in SRT and equipment pre-deployment testing • Interface with Client D&C and Operations teams on the capabilities of the subsea wellhead and tree equipment with regard to installation and operation. • Provision of offshore technical support on early system installations (onsite MODU). • Provision of ongoing onshore technical support, on subsea equipment, to D&C during offshore operations. • Manage Direct Report: Subsea, wellhead and tree Manufacturing Site Engineer activities (Singapore based). The role is part of a multifunctional project team responsible for managing the Wheatstone Project upstream scope including, detailed design, construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of the Client Platform and subsea / pipeline facilities. The Client Project aims to commercialize the Wheatstone and Iago gas reserves via export to a Greenfield LNG site for optimal total long term economic and strategic value for the Client. The fields are located midway between the Gorgon and North West Shelf gas fields, 150km offshore NW Australia, in blocks WA253P, WA17R, and WA16R, in 80-200m water depth. The position will be resident in Perth for the remainder of Phase 4 execution. Frequent travel to SEC’s international engineering locations can be anticipated (UK/Norway and Singapore / Malaysia) during detail design, manufacturing and testing activities. Providing supplementary oversite of manufacture and testing at international SEC site locations on an as-required basis (support Wellhead & Tree Site Engineer). Short to medium term offshore trips during early drilling and completion activities may also be required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Degree preferred, but relevant experience may be acceptable
Experience: 5 Years or more relevant subsea tree experience, some of which in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills: Willingness & availability to travel to tree and intervention system design and manufacturing locations • Subsea tree manufacturing, testing and offshore operations desirable • Subsea tree systems
Additional Comments: Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth (with trips to Singapore), working 9 hour days.
