The Company:
Our majour Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Subsurface Data Analyst in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
This is a Petrotechnical or Geotechnical Geoscience Data Management support job.

Project Well Data Management:
• Geoscience Degree with strong IT skills (Windows and Unix/Linux applications)
• Prior experience as geologist or geological associate working in E&P or G&G exploration/production environment
• 5-years Landmark OpenWorks and recent OpenWorks R5000 applications experience (this requirement can be modified for more entry-level staff)
• Well data gathering, loading, clean-up, and data quality evaluation experience
• Vendor data gathering experience - IHS LogNet, IHS Enerdeq, TGS LogLine, TRCC Online, or Government website searching skills
• Petrel and OpenSpirit data management experience
• Skilled in using PowerExplorer and WOW (Web-OpenWorks) applications.
• Experienced in using Excel and MS-Access for data querying, compilation, and data preparation/formatting
• A Plus - SQL and Oracle background to understand OpenWorks data model (Not programming related)
