The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Act as a Business analyst for Subsurface Data Management projects and work requests, including:
• Describing and analysing the current state
• Design of new systems
• Compliance with Corporate Standards
• Implementation and testing
• Documentation and handover
• Liaison with key stakeholders to establish requirements and ensure stakeholder buy-in to new systems. Work in a multifunctional team to ensure requirements are well understood and met. Business Analysis & Project Delivery
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholder in gathering and modeling business data, business processes and other business rules in order to ensure alternatives have been carefully considered and that the chosen solution meets business objectives
• Apply Information Protection, Information Management and any global standards in the development of system requirements, business processes and procedures
• Ensure application functional and user interface requirements have been defined and reviewed
• Apply the appropriate business analysis tools and methods as needed, in support of new and existing applications, or in support of the study of proposed changes to the business processes
• Develop all Business Analyst deliverables to agreed methods and standards as set out by the IS PMO
• Ensure all Business Process documentation produced on the project can be used to update the “As Is” Enterprise Architecture models once the systems are handed over to production support
• Manage business expectations on the actual scope of business and system functions that will be implemented so that there are “no surprises” post plan and design activities
• As required, contribute to the development of presentations and high-level communications to project stakeholders on: o business operational scenarios o business process/responsibility changes and implications o business process integration gaps and potential issues
• In collaboration with business the Business Process Management team, SMEs and super users, develop user procedures and work instructions, not only describing how to use systems, but how individuals should successfully carryout their day-to-day duties in an efficient, safe and effective manner
• As agreed in transition handover plan, provide post go-live support to end users to: o refine user procedures and business processes, and o facilitate the introduction of new work disciplines Opportunity Assessment and Stakeholder Management
• Develop effective working relationships with project team members and business stakeholders
• Resolve issues on professional terms and escalate as required to ensure successful project delivery
• Foster a “can do” attitude across project team members and business stakeholders
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Geoscience, GIS and/or IT/IM
Information management and/or data management background.
Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Consistent demonstration of Client's Way and principles through behaviors, actions, decisions and delivery of Superior Results.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desired knowledge of subsurface data management, and the exploration and appraisal process.
