The Role:
A generalist in loading of well and seismic master data to appropriate repositories including OpenWorks/SeisWorks, Petrel, eSearch and CDA for all upstream UK assets.

Functional responsibilities:
Ensure acquired data is indexed and loaded to appropriate master repositories and secured for the future.
Loading of well and seismic data to CDA.
Retrieval of data from CDA in support of asset & functions.
Management of well and seismic tapes and archival process.
Coding of subsurface data to eSearch.
Enforcing data standards and good data management practices.
Also required to be cover for:
Transfer of well & seismic data to partners.
Data searches, retrieval & archive.
Ensuring regulatory compliance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally degree level geoscientist with industry experience.
Full understanding of well and seismic data life cycle.
Knowledge of eSearch will be an advantage.
Landmark seismic and well data management (preferably R5000) with data loading.
Petrel data management and application experience would be an advantage.
Problem solving & troubleshooting abilities.
UNIX & Disk Management
Team Player with excellent communication skills, self motivation and “can do” attitude.
