The Role:
Working closely with members of the Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations teams you will work to help embed the Maximo system and related business processes into the organisation, ensuring that users have the knowledge and support required to use the system and follow the appropriate processes. You will help identify opportunities to improve both the Maximo system and business processes to optimise efficiency across the business. You will assist in the management of third party development teams, manage licences and work closely with IS technical resources to assist in understanding and resolving problems.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in designing and shaping the overall Maximo and related systems strategy and influence other IS projects within the portfolio.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop a deep understanding of the Maximo implementation and related business processes and act as a key source of this knowledge across the business
• Act as the highest escalation point for business use and process understanding for the Maximo implementation, providing clarity and resolving user issues.
• Assist on ensuring that users are well trained and have access to the help and instruction that they need to use the system correctly
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and of a suitable standard, where appropriate become involved in developing user guides and helpful information
• Assist the management of third party developers/technical support teams ensuring that they deliver what the business requires
• Act as the focal point between system and process users, IS technical teams and third party developers ensuring that each group is playing their part in delivering a reliable system
• Help define appropriate service level agreements and refining these as the system evolves
• Assist in the management of Maximo licences to ensure maximum utilisation
• Where necessary assist in the procurement of additional licenses, develop a deep understanding of the IBM licencing structure
• Develop and maintain a list of potential improvements to the system or processes, assist in prioritising these issues and managing the delivery of approved improvements
• Develop and provide regular management reports on system use, licence use, problems, projects in process
• Promote the use of Maximo and the associated business process throughout the organisation
• Where development is required assist in the development of tender documents and the evaluation of these
• Assist in the organisation of appropriate "outages" allowing technical updates and new modules to be implemented

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree or relevant professional qualification
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Significant demonstration of learning and experience preferably in the oil and gas production industry
• Able to demonstrate continuing personal and professional development
• Can articulate learning and training experiences
