The Company:
Our client is constructing an LNG liquefaction/export facility

The Role:
Primary Purpose:
The Planning Supervisor will work closely with Maintenance Planning Supervision, Operations, Marine, Safety, Engineering, and is expected to supervise and provide leadership and direction to company planners, continuously oversee and facilitate proper creation of work plans for execution during daily maintenance across the facility to meet all operational department goals. Supervisor should have a complete understanding of all aspects of planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and the ability to develop both long and short term schedules including corrective & preventative maintenance work that meets equipment requirements based upon O&M manuals, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and other specific facility needs. Ensure Risk Assessment Analysis is applied to all work plans before scheduling, planning and work execution must include technical and safety procedures, recognized standards and industry practices and company policies. Provide leadership for direct reports, reports and updates to management through regularly scheduled meetings.

This position has weekend work requirements and call out responsibilities and will be located in Hackberry Louisiana

Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily planning activities
• Generate reports for management review
• Assist in development of budgets and cost control, help set KPI’s, selection of outside services, timely initiation of MOC’s as required by company policy as it pertains to work plans and upcoming schedule
• Initiate purchase requests to meet work plan requirements (equipment/tool rental, spare parts, external services, and more)
• Interfaces with other Maintenance disciplines, Operations, Engineering, HSSE, Contractors and other departments as needed to insure safe, reliable, and cost effective operation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:

Education:
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Experience:

Required:
• Minimum 10 years working experience in large scale Routine Maintenance & Turnaround Maintenance
• Experience in Heavy Industrial Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Maintenance
• 8 years Maintenance Planning & Scheduling experience
• 5 years experience as a Supervisor

Preferred:
• Experience in Liquefied Natural Gas or Natural Gas processing, or
• Experience with cryogenic storage, specifically LNG
• Experience in CMMS systems preferably SAP, and Primavera for scheduling

Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and scheduling
• Good computer skills
