The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
The Marine Topsides Supervisor reports to and supports the Construction Manager of Topsides construction activities and supports safe and effective execution of marine works.

Duties and responsibilities include
• Prioritising and directing the day to day activities of the contractor’s jetty topsides discipline supervisors.
• Ensuring that SMP construction activities being carried out by the EPC contractor conform to approved plans, procedures and processes, and specifications.
• Monitoring of SMP construction activities and inspection of completed works and ensuring project quality requirements are met.
• Ensuring that SMP construction activities are carried out safely with particular emphasis on implementation of the hF Program and Just Culture Processes. Ensures compliance with environment and quarantine commitments and requirements.
• Active participation in safety process induding LPI, TSTA, toolbox/pre-start and safety meetings.
• Active participation in incident investigation including Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensures that the Permit To Work (PTW) Authority for all Jetty works are in place and current for work activities.
• Ensuring compliance with quality in construction requirements.
• Provision of early warning of potential issues or concerns with respect to SMP construction activities and schedule.
• Maintaining clear, timely and appropriate day to day communication with Topsides Construction Manager, contractor supervisors and positive interfacing with Marine team and CVX/ KJVG support services including HSEQ and Quality teams.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant trade qualifications, Marine Master Ticket desirable.
• Minimum 20 years experience working on large marine infrastructure projects.
• Including a minimum of 10 years experience at superintendent level working on jetty & marine infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated organisational & analytical skills
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated man management \ leadership skills.
• Previous experience with structural, mechanical, piping instalLations on large resource projects.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong leadership in a similar role and solid interpersonal skills enabling you to work effectively with senior operational staff and external stakeholders. 10 - 15 years experience in similar construction/engineeringlinspection positions within the oil and gas industry.
