The Company:
Our Client, a leading JV combining two of the world's major Oil Companies sits at the very heart of Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical industry producing a wide range of products using the latest cutting edge technologies

The Role:
Provide leadership and supervision to coordinate the short term (inside one year) tactical planning and optimization effort. Coordinates tactical strategy implementation and supports Economic P&O Supervisor with scope of strategic/economics planning effort.

Communication of operating plan
Coordination of operation implementation of operating plans, support LP model improvements via high level of focus on yield and quality variance analysis
Refinery feedstocks, intermediates champion
Driving optimization effort with Economic P&O supervisor in the tactical planning, execution of MOP (Monthly Operating Plan)
Ensuring inventories are optimized to avoid hindering plant operation and excessive working inventory level targets
Annually with Economics P&O supervisor, reviewing and securing agreement from asset teams necessary unit key processing constraints, working inventory level targets
Support and mentor direct reports (Plan Coordinator, Operations Analyst and Scheduler)
Backfill for P&O Department Manager, Economic P&O Supervisor
Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with Company policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
Lead, motivate, develop and assess the assigned team to achieve business objectives and grow capability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
3 years in supervisory role
