The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
To support supplier & part Quality Planning activities for the successful launch of new product introductions and to actively pursue performance improvement of the supplier base.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality planning and parts maturation
Parts Quality planning and supplier process status reporting.
Project & Pilot hall support
Supplier liaison and control on or off site

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications
Relevant Engineering qualification, HNC or higher.
Associate membership of the IQA is desirable.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous Experience
Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Computer literate with SAP, TEVON, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of Quality tools including use of statistical techniques & analysis (SPC& Capability studies), 8D, Pareto, Kaizen, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA-design and process), Fault tree etc.

Product knowledge in automotive interior, exterior or electrical commodities is required. This should include experience with plastic, metal, composite materials and electrical/mechanical components.
