Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

The job holder is responsible for Quality planning activities for all bought parts maturation in line with design specification and approval of parts and completion of 2DP process.
Technical support on complex Supplier Quality issues including KAF, Production and Field.
Drive quality improvements at external suppliers to ensure Product Quality targets are achieved.
Ensure the company has the right information related to supplier quality performance to nominate suppliers that achieve group quality standards.

Scope of the Role

1. Delivery of parts quality planning tools in line with project gateways.
2. Part maturation, approval and capacity analysis.
3. Achieve Quality targets on pre series and series vehicles (Audit, DPV, Aftersales).
4. Drive supplier improvements and problem solving.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree qualification or higher in an engineering field or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline with extensive relevant experience.
- Associate membership of a relevant professional institution.
- Driving licence.
- Experience and knowledge of Engineering in at least one commodity.
- Experience in the automotive industry at a supplier or OEM.
- Knowledge of management systems and processes to mature parts and resolve technical problems related to parts quality from suppliers.
- Knowledge of quality planning.
- Experience of delivering QA standards against time and cost constraints.
- Computer literate with presentation experience.
- Can motivate and influence others to change including junior management and peers at suppliers.
- Can communicate convincingly and professionally to junior management within the organisation and at suppliers.
