The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To support supplier & part Quality Planning activities for the successful launch of new product introductions and to actively pursue performance improvement of the supplier base.

Scope of the Role

- Supplier Quality planning and parts maturation.
- Parts Quality planning and supplier process status reporting.
- Project & Pilot hall support.
- Supplier liaison and control on or off site.

Qualifications & Experience

- Relevant Engineering qualification, HNC or higher.
- Associate membership of the IQA is desirable.
- Previous experience required, knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Computer literate with SAP, TEVON, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Quality tools including statistical techniques & analysis (SPC & Capability studies), 8D, Pareto, Kaizen, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA – design and process), Fault tree etc.
- Product knowledge in automotive interior, exterior, chassis, powertrain or electrical commodities is required. This should include experience with plastic, metal, composite materials and electrical/mechanical components.
