The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry

The Role:
Our client is in the process of developing an Approved Vendors List. This process assesses supplier’s capabilities and rationalises the supply base, so only the suppliers best able to meet our client’s high requirements are approved and sourced from.

Over the last 12 months our client have developed an audit protocol to assess manufacturers of pipes, fittings and flanges, with a particular focus on duplex and super duplex stainless steel manufacturers. Approximately twenty audits have been conducted for the purposes of qualifying vendors onto the Approved Vendor List. It is estimated that an additional 10 - 20 audits are required to adequately cover the full scope of PFF supply and expand the geographical coverage of the supply base. We are recruiting a team of two (one metallurgist and one supplier quality management specialist) to undertake these audits.

The role requires the candidate to conduct 2-3 day on-site audits at 10-20 manufacturers of duplex/super duplex stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges over a six month period.

The audit protocols and procedures are in place. The candidate will base the audits and supplier assessments on the protocols developed and assess manufacturer’s capabilities against these requirements.

It is anticipated that the manufacturers will include locations in Asia and Europe and potentially the US.

Using our client’s Upstream Approved Vendor List Process to:
