The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Responsible for the accurate processing of goods inwards and outwards at a Supply Base, activities include but are not restricted to:

• The accurate checking for quantity, quality, type and part identification of company materials and equipment delivered against a company purchase order, and also contractor equipment in accordance with established Company procedures.
• Identification of materials that requires QA/QC inspection by the Specialist Receival Clerk as defined on the purchase order.
• Conducts physical checks of incoming materials to ensure company and delivery details are evident and correct.
• Conducting rigorous primary inspection of material and packaging for quarantine risk material (QRM), responsible for immediate remedial action and containment of QRM and management as defined by established procedures.
• Enters receipt details from JDE receivers work sheet accurately into JDE system.
• Pack and label packages appropriately for transhipment by either air or surface transportation to end user.
• Responsible for identifying hazardous materials, that material is approved in company ChemAlert System for use in Company facilities and that appropriate MSDS’ are provided.
• Responsible for the appropriate packaging and freight movement in accordance with relevant Dangerous Goods and IATA regulations.
• Responsible for placing all materials requiring QA/QC inspection are placed into Inspection Bay and that Company the Specialist Receival Clerk or QA/QC team Lead is immediately notified
• Responsible for initiating Technical Queries (TQ) arising from materials checking
• Prepares freight manifesting in the FMS system for materials shipped to end destinations in accordance with all established procedures.
• Interfaces with Company expediter as required and directed
• Use of ERP JD Edwards System /Enters material receipt details into JD Edwards’s system and also processes into ancillary material tracking systems as directed. /Enters materials receipts into JDE Expediting Module as directed
• Responsible for individual compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and corporate health, environmental, and safety (HES) requirements associated with materials traffic activity.
• Responsible that all operations carried out individually and others are undertaken safely and follow the corporate Tenants of Operations. All operations should be carried out to avoid environmental pollution.
• Responsible for the safety & loss prevention to staff and contractors
• Responsible for conducting regular safety inspections of receival work area, immediately remediates and reports exceptions to Materials Movement Coordinator

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Year 10 minimum
• Experience in Materials Management processes and systems preferable (not mandatory).
• MS Office suite (Excel / Word). Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a team environment with a strong safety culture.
• DG Awareness (Air/Sea/Road)
