The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
To ensure the timely availability of all parts to support a Project build phase. Contacting suppliers and arranging suitable transport.

Working within a team of Supply Centre Analysts reporting to the Supply Centre Team Leader. The position collaborates closely with the Module representatives, Sampling team, New Parts stores and Series Logistics colleagues. Close contact is also made with Buyers from Purchasing, Purchase Technical Support, Quality and Engineering.

Responsible for contacting suppliers and identifying the availability of all parts ready for collection.

Arranging suitable transport for the collection of parts from the Vendor base.

Planning material in SAP and issuing accurate schedules to all Vendors.

Managing and controlling Engineering change (AEKO).

Supporting the Permit process on parts subject to containment.

Responsibility for ensuring that local Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed in order to ensure own safety and the safety of others. (Applicable to Level 1-3)

Responsible for ensuring that the Function operates in accordance with site policies and procedures in respect of Health and Safety, in order to ensure the safety of Associates and visitors. (Applicable to Managers)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Suitable experience within a similar role or industry.
• Ideally a basic business degree is necessary to understand the expectations of the role.
• Must be a good communicator, flexible and persistent.
• Computer literacy is a prerequisite for this role.
• Enjoys working in a team but willing to take the lead when required and appropriate.
• Language skills: English/German.

• Ideally a background in Logistics or Purchasing / Supply Chain.
• Demonstrable experience in Project delivery.
• Working within a team and to specific target deadlines.
• Previous experience of Group systems would be advantageous.
