The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Lead and implement improvement programs and services as project lead/focal point in one or more of the assigned areas including Quality Mgmt. (CAMP), Modal Logistics, and Business Planning & Scheduling.
Functional Duties(up to 15)
1. Identify, assess, and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain at a tactical or strategic level (inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service).
2. Optimize supply chain infrastructures (Solids Centre, Liquids Centre).
3. Identify and assist in the implementation of optimum inventory levels that balance costs and customer service.
4. Participate in supply chain strategy development, including customer/product mix analysis, customer/product segmentation, channels-to-market, capital investment, and sourcing decisions.
5. Optimize or lead the development of supply chain work processes, business rules, and establish metrics for forecasting/demand planning, production planning, inventory management, and the S&OP process.
6. Support the design and optimization of supply chains through the use of optimization tools (linear programming, spread sheet analysis).
7. Test supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through modelling techniques and simulation.
8. Act as an emerging or knowledgeable contact in the areas of project management, supply chain optimization tools, approaches, and methods.
9. Manage multiple cross functional projects and relationships; participate and/or lead cross-functional team projects.
10. Provide support and expertise in supply chain operations technology (distribution equipment, packaging materials and packaging equipment design).
11. Lead the corrective action process (CAMP).
12. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• APICS certification preferred
