The Company:
Our Company is a powerful new oil & gas production and development company, has been formed from the demerged North Sea interests of joint venture. Our company assets have been contributed by both firms on a debt free basis. We are a focused independent company.

The Role:
Working within a multi-disciplinary team and reporting directly to the Senior Contracts Engineer - Wells the role will provide a Supply Chain Coordination function in support of the drilling operation, raising the required orders for equipment and personnel and checking the resultant invoices.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Liaising with Drilling Engineers and Drilling Superintendent regarding requirements for equipment and personnel.
• Requesting quotations from suppliers.
• Ensuring quotations match the Engineers’ technical requirements.
• Verification of rates quoted against the relevant contract.
• Liaison with Wells Contracts Engineers where items are not contained within the contract or there is no contract in place.
• Raise all requisitions/orders in the system.
• Invoice checking and querying discrepancies.
• Goods receipt all equipment/services in the system.
• Tracking invoice discrepancies found and credits raised.
• Close liaison with Finance and Cost Engineers.
• Reporting functionality to Senior Contracts Engineer – Wells with operational reporting line to Rig Superintendent.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Confident to challenge and query requests received and address supplier invoice discrepancies.
• Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• A reliable and approachable team player.
• Ability to build effective relationships with other Engineering Disciplines.
• Commercial Awareness.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Self-motivated team player with ability and desire to take responsibility.
• Proficient in the use of IT packages, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Data wright system, CTX and ERP systems preferred.
• Raising requisitions and orders in the ERP system.
• Invoice verification.
• Working in a Drilling Environment.
• Business qualification.
