The Company:
Our client is an Oil & Gas Operator with offices in Central London.

The Role:
Develop sourcing and contracting strategies for discipline area and work with internal stakeholders in all aspects of sourcing and supplier selection, risk management and evaluation.
Ensure SCM involvement in the development and implementation of contracting strategies and ensure required timelines are met.
Proactively manage the strategic sourcing and contracting cycle for discipline area.
Manage the negotiation of specific discipline area contracts and contract performance reviews.
Engage regularly with discipline area suppliers to ensure that Group needs and expectations are being met and that the strategic value of the relationship is being realised.
Prequalify suitable suppliers in participating in ITT’s using Group policies and industry knowledge.
Draft and issue ITT documents followed by clarification, evaluation, negotiation, recommendation and finalize contract for execution.
Ensure compliance with all Group processes and procedures.
Secure appropriate approvals within the Company approvals framework for various contract phases - Contract Award, Contract Amendments, EHSS
and Contract Terminations by means of executive summary and electronic workflow determination within Company Contracts Management systems.
Prepare Corporate Tender Board, Partner and other external approval documents.
Review financial commitments and cost monitoring via Company Procurement / Commitments Systems and Management Reporting.„h Monitor Contract spend and provide annual spend estimates.
During contract period, ensure integrity of insurances; manage rate negotiations, performance, claims / variations, agreements and contract amendments.
Encourage new initiatives that improve value or help lower costs to the business.
Manage auditable contract files.
Provide day to day advice on commercial and contractual matters
Support Group supply chain management initiatives and deliverables
Demonstrate personal commitment to EHSS Practices by actively participating in Company safety awareness and initiatives.
Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company EHSS standards

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant degree and MCIPS or equivalent
Must have Oil & Gas experience in a Supply Chain role

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience in increasingly senior roles in a Supply Chain function
Oil and Gas sourcing and contracting experience – ideally with an operator
Strong IT and systems experience – ideally Proactis, Maximo, SAP or a similar ERP system
