The Company:
Our Client is a major contractor providing consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries. They are the leading Contracting Company to the Oil and Gas Industry in the UK.

The Role:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the supply chain activities on this project, in line with both org and client policies and procedures and UK and international legislation. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain Function and will be required to build a world-class team of Supply Chain professionals. The remit will cover contracting strategies and all aspects of pre-qualification, tendering and contract execution and management. This will include planning, approvals, policies, procedures, company and legal compliance and reporting.


Development and execution of the Project Supply Chain Strategy

Development and successful running of the Supply Chain Function, including personnel, planning, approvals, policies, procedures, compliance and reporting

All Supply Chain Function disciplines, including procurement, subcontracts, expediting, quality control/inspection and materials management and logistics

Successful systems implementation

Ensure compliance with corporate org and client requirements and relevant international and domestic law

Lead all aspects of FEED & Detailed Design bid document preparation, pre-qualification, tendering and contract execution and management

Provide the primary interface with the various org and client legal and contract groups to finalize contract documents

Manage change and risk

Ensure compliance with corporate org and client requirements and relevant international and domestic law

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business related field

Experience in a similar role with a track record of successful delivery

Experience as a Supply Chain Manager for an oil and gas or contracting company for a major offshore oil & gas capital project

Experience in running a Supply Chain Function in an examplar fashion

Experience of coping with difficult situations and resolving these successfully.

Responsible and accountable for success and failure
