The Role:
Due to maternity leave, a requirement has arisen for procurement support of the Lincs Windfarm. The role is expected to be required for around 12 months. The role includes tendering and managing key contracts and purchasing requirements covering all aspects of wind farm operation and maintenance:
- Support and manage key supplier relationships.
- Source and purchase minor goods and services using the SAP EAM system.
- Support and lead negotiations
- Implement contract management best practice
- Ensure purchasing controls and governance is followed
- Co-ordinate all key stakeholders to capture requirements Workload fluctuates and support on other wind farms

Procurement:
- Procure a range of goods and services ensuring optimum value for money.
- Support and evaluate tenders and proposals for the supply of goods and services negotiating with suppliers
- Prepare SAP purchasing documents. Supplier / Contract Management: - draft, negotiate and obtain agreement to commercial contracts.
- Identify and communicate key dependencies between company, suppliers and/or contracts.
- Apply best practice contract management principles and lessons learnt
- Ensure suppliers meet their commercial obligations and provide contract management guidance / advice / support to staff and management as required.
- Manage supplier / stakeholder relationships, resolve contractual and supplier disputes.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of suppliers, products and contractual arrangements with computerised procurement systems.

Sourcing Strategy:
- Undertake market and spend assessment to generate innovative opportunities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree and/or CIPS qualified (or working towards CIPS)
- Innovative, creative and collaborative.
- Independently proactive and keen to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Great drive, energy and enthusiasm.
- Must identify risks and manage appropriately
- Must finish what has been started
- Desire to succeed and result orientated
- Ability to present ideas/concepts and take a consultative approach with stakeholders
- Experience of offshore contract environment and LOGIC/FIDIC contracts beneficial
- Experience of SAP ERP procurement system and Contiki contract management system beneficial.
