The Company:
Our client is international engineering and construction group and one of the UK's top solutions providers based in the North West.

The Role:
The Supply Chain QC Leader will deliver a professional QC service to the project within resource, programme and budgetary constraints, which satisfies legislative, regulatory and company requirements

The QC Stream Leader is responsible for ensuring that the specific QC requirements are identified, developed implemented and maintained during the project life-cycle. In addition the QC Stream Leader will be responsible for managing all day to day aspects of the QC resource of their specific stream on behalf of project. Alliance with regard to budget, resource availability and allocation of resources to specific work packages.

• The Supply Chain QC Leader will ensure that the appropriate contract pre-approvals are carried out within the project supply chain.
• Develop and implement the project off-site QC strategy (what, how, who, when and where) in accordance with the relevant standards and specifications.
• Liaise with ICG and the Alliance Quality Manager in order to identify and co-ordinate the Alliance QC inspection support necessary to meet quality requirements/expectations of the Alliance.
• The Supply Chain QC Leader will establish all QC approval networks.
• Assure that all off-site QC and C&V activities are co-ordinated effectively.
• Manage the supply chain QC team, providing mentoring, guidance and performance monitoring to ensure effective implementation of the off-site QC strategy.
• Ensure that all project off-site LTQR’s are generated and verified in accordance with relevant technical specifications.
• The Supply Chain QC Leader will ensure that the site policy for risks of emerging market/global supply chains is implemented on behalf of the project.
• Contribute to the development of the project audit management programme, advising the QA Lead on specific internal and external audits of off-site QC activities.
• Contribute to off-site Contractor Audits and Surveillances.
• The Supply Chain QC Leader will report Supply Chain audit performance, communicating key audit findings and trends.
• Carry out Assessments of Suppliers and Sub-contractors, this includes source evaluation boards and assessments which are part of routine contractor monitoring in order to clearly define project QA/QC requirements.
• The Supply Chain QC Leader will deliver QC requirements/expectations to off-site contractors and reinforce client expectations during quality meetings and briefings.
• Support contractors in development of their QC management systems, offering best practice from other areas.
• Measure and evaluate off-site contractor performance by scoring them against established Status of Quality KPI’s.
• Assist in the development of the off-site project specific LTQR strategy.
• Establish project specific off-site LTQR requirements.
• Implement project specific off-site LTQR approval networks.
• Assure that project off-site LTQRs are archived and an effective data retrieval process is established.
•What records that the Alliance expects to see in an off-site LTQR pack

•What off-site LTQR reviews shall take place, for example interim and final reviews

•How off-site LTQR reviews shall be conducted.

• Identify when off-site LTQRs shall pass to SL once they are accepted
