The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Monitor, manage and balance product supply and demand within defined parameters for sourcing, production sequencing, and inventory levels.
1. Perform supply/demand balance simulations to ensure that supply chain processes run smoothly.
2. Build scenarios of production and supply chain capabilities and constraints to plan for efficient supply chain models.
3. Monitor and report on actual sales versus forecasts, actual production versus plan, and inventory performance versus targets.
4. Recommend production plans, raw material plans, and packaging plans in order to reduce lead times.
5. Participate in sales and operation planning process.
6. Liaise between manufacturing and supply chain planning and resolve operational planning issues and conflicts between planning and manufacturing.
7. Support business supply chain initiatives through data analysis and implementation of action plans.
8. Monitor the level of manufacturing supplies to ensure an uninterrupted production process.
9. Negotiate and enforce the timely delivery of goods used for manufacturing from external vendors.
10. Comply with EH&S guidelines and overall safety processes.
11. Perform any supply chain job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A diploma in a related field.
• APICS Certification desired for future development.
