The Role:
The Role:
To deliver Supply Chain strategy, ensuring fit-for-purpose contract strategies, timely procurement and best practice contract management.
The basic purpose of the role is to provide day to day business partnering support to operational functions, including but not limited to: Budgeting, Forecasting and Monthly management reporting.

Comfortable with being a champion for local sourcing.

Ability to synthesise input from multiple stakeholders into fit-for-purpose contract strategies and
implementation of sourcing best practice
Ability to follow processes to ensure compliance with strategies and procedures, but
remain flexible
Ability to negotiate with suppliers, contractors and technical partners to deliver win-win contractual
Ability to champion best practice in Contract Management

Areas of responsibility:-
Implementation of Supply Chain Strategy
Compliance (for Supply Chain matters) with authorisation under company's Delegation of Authority
Compliance with Contractor HSE Management undertakings
On-time delivery of project supply
Documentation of sourcing selection and communication materials
Implementation and roll out of new ERP system
Reporting of Contract Management
Supplier Management

Regular duties:-
Executing Supply Chain Strategy.
Embedding supply chain processes and procedures, and developing these are required
Preparing Contract Strategies, facilitating tenders, negotiating agreements and purchasing goods
and services including key contracts
Monitoring implementation of Contract Management plans and tracking Contract Performance
Developing and managing relationships with key suppliers and partners
Provide reports as required to support contract management (including monthly management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher education degree preferred
CIPS certification preferred
Essential: 7 - 10 years' experience in Supply Chain and Procurement
Preferred: ERP systems; managing change and overcoming resistance to change; managing
relationships internally and externally; oil & gas sector; energy & infrastructure services
