The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Supply Engineer would be responsible for the following;

1. Create and manage parts matrices to ensure parts are available in time for build start date
2. Liaise with Proto Package/Design Engineers to prioritise data release
3. Interface with panel suppliers - with respect to quality, timing and modification control
4. Change management (where part levels are updated)
5. Ensure parts are submitted for inclusion on BOM
6. Represent Prototype BIW in parts shortages meetings
7. Support builds onsite including attending daily start-up and wash-up meetings as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree or relevant automotive experience.
• Digital Buck / CATIA and strong Microsoft Excel experience.
• Automotive BIW assembly experience.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work independently.
• Good project management skills, thorough and logical approach to issues, good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Capable of representing Prototype Ops. in meetings at all levels with confidence and credibility.
• Flexible with respect to travel.
• Full driving license.
