The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Our leading client is currently seeking a Supply Excellence & Business Systems Specialist- Contracts to be based in Qatar working on a 6month contract.

Plans and implements the activities related to business systems and supply excellence in the Supply Department. Work closely with Head of Contracts (HOC) to improve the efficiency of the Division by leading the implementation of all business improvements and best practices.

Reviews the Supply Chain systems and business practices generate process improvement proposals & lead the implementation of the same with the line head and line management approval. Identify improvement opportunities, discuss with team members, Head of Supply Excellence, HOC, develop action plan, and implement as per agreed schedule.

Lead each of the initiatives identified under Contracts and ensure that all such initiatives are implemented on timely basis. Progress is monitored, corrective actions taken and supervisors are informed of the progress and the bottlenecks on a timely manner.

Prepare Management Information Reports for smooth communication flow in the line and across stakeholders. Gather data, prepare reports or summarize information, guidelines for KPIs and reporting. Collect and collate multiple sources of data to provide actionable insights.

Internal customer focus, utilize KPI Measures and analyses to ensure that progress is in line with plan. Support Head of Supply Excellence and HOC in identifying gaps & propose corrective action wherever necessary for continuous improvement, individual and department performance and customer satisfaction. Facilitate internal reviews for compliance and identify/propose corrective action. Ensure all established systems and procedures are implemented without any unauthorized deviations.

Assist Head of Contracts for development of realistic Annual procurement plan for contracts for Services/materials by reviewing & analysing SAP database and to develop tender strategies. Continuous review with users to ensure alignment with the procurement plan.

Improvement and Standardization of various formats like Contract/ Tender/ Submission templates including design of new formats.
Review of all Contract procedures. Update general decisions of Tender committees and guidelines into Procedures.
Conducts regular reviews of such procedures and initiates any revisions necessitated by circumstantial changes or those, which will be to the economic advantage of the Company.
Coordinate for issue of Customer satisfaction surveys, collect and analyse feedback to evolve implementation plan with Head of Contracts/Purchase.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
CIPS certified or equivalent reputable certification desirable.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar reputable certification desirable
12 years experience in contracts and contracts process improvement in the oil/gas Energy Industry.
Prior exposure to management system improvement programs .
High standard of both written & spoken English, and effective communication and presentation skills
Good Facilitation skills.
Knowledge and experience in the use of computer software and systems.
