The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of the support team which has responsibility for taking Process Automation opportunities from marketing through to successful Handing over to Operations and executions. the support engineer will be building and developing client relationships to increase the companies’ market share in line with our growth aspirations

Work as part of the Operations team to develop and grow the business in UK and Ireland.
Review customer requirements and specifications and maximising the scope of the existing product portfolio
Manage the Enquiry and Quotation Database and prepare the data for Risk Reviews
Support in Preparation of Quotations/Tenders
Prepare and manage the Full Cost Models and Cost Analysis
Assist Operations in managing the orders
Liaise with outer offices and third party suppliers to ensure Price and Delivery of the optimum solution.
The role will involve travel within UK and Ireland for internal and customer meetings.
Driving continuous improvement in organisational performance: HSE, Quality, Cost Efficiency

Interaction with:-
Operations / Commercial Department / Business Controllers / Project / Service Engineers
Customer Representatives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Undergraduate Engineering (or similar) degree (Preferable with PLC and Automation Background)
Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills with the ability to prioritise and manage peaks in workload
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employees in a professional manner, both in person and via telephone, and a strong focus on managing customer relationships
Extremely detail conscious and numerate
Excellent administration skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong commercial and business acumen
