The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
• Provide coordinating support for other disciplines in investigating equipment performance issues.
• During pre-operations phase, responsible for contributing to the review of process deliverables by EPC contractors on behalf of Operations to ensure correct equipment is specified and detailed design complies with project specifications.
• During pre-operations phase provide technical support to offshore commissioning team and offshore start-up teams.
• During pre-operations support operational readiness by contributing to the development of operating procedures and O&M manuals.
• In the Operations phase, responsible for coordinating the provision of engineering support to ensure compliance with established standards, provision of technical advice and management of critical drawings
• Seek opportunities for plant optimization for increased production and reduced cost.
• Analysis of cost and production deferment data to identify, quantify benefit and scope improvement opportunities for entry to the brownfield development portfolio.
• Coordinate process engineering resources for execution of minor engineering modifications.
• Responsible for contributing to the timely action and closure of HSE and Audit Actions, Notifications, Temporary Operating Procedures and Deviations, and Engineering Change Requests
• Review of technical integrity deviations associated with operating procedures and process design on behalf of Operations.
• Responsible for contributing to HAZOP and SIL reviews as appropriate
• Provide advice and assistance to the Principal Process Engineer to develop/review Process standards

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Min 5 years’ experience in process engineering within the hydrocarbon offshore environment (Refinery or LNG plant also acceptable).
• Have knowledge of SCE’s, performance standards and Safety Case.
• Experience of working within a controlled change management culture to ensure that any changes are fully assessed and approved
• Experience in high availability critical infrastructure
• Have the ability to work within a matrix organisation and manage inter cultural group sensitivities
• A good communicator across all levels of the organisation, presentation skills, with a strong focus on Production, Technical Integrity and cost
• Conversant in subsea systems, flow assurance, HAZOPs, SIL reviews and relief systems.
• The ability to share within networks, and identify and deliver quick wins is essential, as are self-performance management skills
• Maintain communications and work as a team to deliver the required results.
