a major integrated energy company, committed to growth in the activities of finding, producing, transporting, transforming and marketing oil and gas is seeking a SURF & Technologies Coordinator

The Role:
Purpose:
• Assist Facilities Engineering manager in distributing the workload to controlled disciplines;
• To support the COMPANY Development Team during Project Execution Phase in the engineering, design, manufacturing and testing (performed by Contractor) of subsea production systems (both subsea and topside on FPU) assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices;
• To support the COMPANY Development Team during Project Execution Phase in the engineering, design, manufacturing and testing (performed by Contractor) of subsea structures (PLET,FLET, MWA), and umbilical lines, assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices;
• To assist the COMPANY Development Team during the Tender phase for the technical clarifications and evaluation with Bidders;
• To review the specification, design and supply (performed by Contractor) of Subsea Production Systems, PLET, MWA and umbilicals, ensuring that Project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost are met;
• To learn and became confident with all COMPANY standards and Project Specification in order to verify Contractor compliance;
• To ensure performance, installability and operability of SPS equipment, subsea structure and umbilical lines;
• To ensure that SPS equipment, PLET, MWA and umbilical systems technical interfaces with other systems or activities of the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times;
• Perform Site inspection and interfacing with the Contractor;
• To ensure delivery of SPS equipment, PLET, MWA and umbilical systems in line with the Project objectives;
• To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign;
• To interface with COMPANY Project Interface Engineer to manage and expedite all the SPS and RFI Contractor interfaces with other Project Contractors;
• Follow-on of the SPS and RFI contractor engineering including the management of comment sheets of the discipline;
• Follow-on the construction activities of the discipline supporting the Site Representative or the Inspector;
• Attendance during construction and installation activities at site;
• Assure compliance of SPS and RFI Contractor with job standards and specifications for the discipline;
• Technical follow-on/troubleshooting during construction, installation, commissioning and start-up;
• On site assistance (drilling rig, construction vessel, FPU) to Company, with the follow up of the Vendor personnel;
• Support the SPS Work Package Leader in the engineering review and approval, expediting and inspection at Vendor site during the construction and offshore installation assistance.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Distribute the workload to the disciplines of competency;
• Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems, ensuring overall design integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices and system performance;
• Site inspection and Interfacing with the Contractors on Technical and Delivery issues;
• Ensuring Delivery of the Subsea Production System equipments, RFI Subsea Structures and umbilical lines with the Project objectives, technical interfaces and requirements;
• Review of Contractors’ SPS equipment, RFI Subsea Structures and umbilical lines design documentation and preparation of comment sheets;
• Expediting of technical interfaces;
• Daily site inspection and interfacing with contractor;
• Follow-up the detail engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to subsea production system and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems;
• Follow-up the detail engineering performed by the RFI Contractor relevant to subsea structures;
• Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International standards and Engineering best practices;
• Resolving ongoing technical issues concerning all aspects of subsea control equipment;
• Ensure that all internal and external Interfaces (especially with FPU) are correctly managed by Contractor;
• Witnessing of acceptance tests for all the Production control System Scope of Supply (FAT,EFAT, SIT);
• Support to offshore installation, commissioning and production start-up.

Safety Responsibilities:
HSES awareness in all duties and activities/compliance enforcement with general HSES rules. Comply with requirements of the Safety, Health and Environmental laws of Indonesia and to obey the corporate policy of eni Indonesia on Safety, Health and Environment, and to practice eni Indonesia Safety Systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree
• Experience in Project Engineering in a major oil and gas company for Subsea System
• Not less than 7 years of working experience in oil & gas industry in Subsea Projects
• Not less than 5 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
• Experience in at least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC Project follow-up)
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Subsea system for deep water development such as:
o IT Hardware Architecture (Generic)
o Specialist Knowledge: Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
o Supports and technologies: Technical requirement and Standard
o Plant Design: Electric. & Instrum. & Telecom Design
o Construction & Installation: Plant construction, production and workover Control system and umbilicals knowledge, Inspection, control and testing techniques

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Good abilities to read, understand, interpret and write reports and documentation
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Experience of working in multi-national environment
