The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
This is an onshore based position, working a 28/28 rotation.

•Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among project team members
•Provide surveillance and report status of construction work in the specific discipline for conformance with engineering drawings, design specifications, safe work practices, and applicable codes
•Review and assist contractor’s construction planning, procurement, and scheduling activities as needed
•Evaluate contactor’s construction organization and supervisor personnel, suggesting remedial steps where deficiencies are noted
•Organise and provide daily work direction and coordination of discipline inspectors as needed
•Review and if required endorse discipline-related change requests
•Review and if required endorse discipline-related procurement and subcontracting
•Ensure inspection records are in compliance with mechanical completion, system completion, and turnover procedures
•Assist contractor in implementation of permit to work system
•Facilitate quality audits
•Serve as the PT’s first line supervisor for safety management
•Perform other duties as requested

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Should also have experience with fabrication of SURF equipment (i.e., manifolds, suction piles, FLETs, PLETs, jumpers, etc.)
