The Company:
Our client operates internationally with a renowned reputation and extensive experience in deepwater subsea, umbilical, riser and flowline making it the referred contractor for UK and global energy companies. Key to this is maintaining a dedicated Survey and Inspection support team to provide technical assistance and advice to projects and vessels and to assist in continued increases in workload we are keen to identify a Survey Helpdesk Co-ordinator with previous offshore survey and helpdesk ex

The Role:
The role is Survey Helpdesk Co-ordinator and the post holder will be tasked with providing technical support to a variety of projects including the following responsibilities:

•Provide dedicated survey and inspection support team to provide technical assistance and advice to projects and vessels.
•Provide the provision of technical support to Inspection departments
•Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the Survey Helpdesk Intranet site
•Logging and allocation of support calls
•Preparation of technical documentation
•Upload of reports and documentation
•Utilisation of software tools including HTML, Sharepoint and Dreamweaver
•Support of a portfolio of specialist survey and inspection software
•Any other duties as required
•This opportunity does offer the opportunity for development and progression into a specialised technical support role within the organisation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Previous experience within Survey or Positioning
•Competence in IT with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
•Web development experience with use of Microsoft Share point and HTML
•Knowledge of survey or Geomatics
