The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for Survey Specialist to deliver efficient and effective subsea survey operations and bring a high level of technical support and Survey expertise. This role will also be required to schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise various offshore Survey operations, liaising with line management and client departments as appropriate.

Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to;
• Define survey systems and equipment requirements for all surface and subsea positioning activities, and to manage the supervision and Quality Control of positioning, inspection, metrology, dimensional control and other survey options.
• To have the technical ownership of Company Survey Standards, Specifications and Instructions, and to study technological developments or new concepts in Survey standards and equipment.
• Ensure International and Company regulations/standards are followed, and maintain high standards of Survey safety.
• Provide specialist survey report to Drilling, Projects, Logistics, Sub-sea Engineers and other clients as required, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Contribute to technical evaluation and selection of contractors and to ensure that technical Contractor selection is carried out in accordance with Company requirements, and that safety assessment is a part of the selection process.
• Supervises staff and contracted Surveyors
• Record review and analyse service level agreements (SLA) / key performance indicators (KPI) as appropriate and monitor quality and performance of the operators including cost allocation and invoice checking.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Education with a degree level in Geomatics or equivalent and professional experience as Surveyor in Offshore Oil and Gas industry, especially with experience as senior position such as Party Chief or Company Survey Representative.
• Proficient experience including extensive management of oilfield Survey operations.
• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas offshore industry including ROV, Diving, Inspection, Geotechnical, Construction including an understanding of Contracts, legislation and standards highly appreciated
