The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
The client are currently looking to add a QHSE Advisor to our expanding team. They are continuing to grow and win new projects all over the world and due to our continued success we have an opening for a QHSE Advisor to be based at our Inverness site Scotland.

• Conduct QHSE construction site inspections including verification of close-out actions;
• Conducting QHSE internal audits including verification of close-out actions;
• Ensure all relevant consents are in place in a timely manner for the CMS project
• Develop Construction Phase HSE Plans and Quality Assurance plans;
• Deliver behavioural safety training and standards on the project
• Conduct incident investigation down to root cause level and produce thorough written reports;
• Analysis of QHSE data and development of action plans to address any issues raised;
• Provide support to the site management team to ensure a rigorous review Risk Assessments and Method Statements is conducted to ensure safe systems of work are both appropriate and effective;
• Promoting business culture to clients, supply chain and employees thorough presentation, campaigns etc
• Provide QHSE support throughout the organisation as required
• Build relationships with regulators customers
• Delivery customer requirement
• Promote positive Environmental, Health and Safety culture

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• A candidate with experience in Environmental issues as well as Health and Safety in a Scottish construction environment;
• Nationally recognized Environmental, Health and Safety qualifications are essential with membership of an appropriate Institute.
• The role requires a team player, able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and determination to deliver continuous improvement throughout the various elements of an electrical power project management business. Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills. A high level of IT literacy is essential.
