The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Responsibilities:
- System Engineering across the design and release groups of Engine Cooling, Pump Engineering Group and Powertrain Cooling.
- Work with the CAE team to ensure a representative 1D model.
- Work with Engine and Vehicle Development Teams to ensure a valid test plan.
- Lead on issue resolution.
- Approver of new standards for cooling
- Ensure Component Engineers are working to the current standards. Requirement owner within RMDV.
- Technology selection and system concept.
- Annual process for FMEA, standards, system strategy
- Supplier technical capability assessments

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
System Engineering Cooling Engineering Experience Issue resolution Leader - 8D, 6 sigma
Ability to lay out a system strategy
Track record of working within Engine Design, Development or CAE with knowledge of the cooling system its function and interactions.
Knowledge of modern CAE and test methodology
Knowledge of component design and manufacture Expert in FMEA and DVP
